How does this dating pool calculator work?
The calculator starts with country population data and applies broad assumptions about age, being single and your selected preferences. Filters such as height, education, lifestyle and personality reduce the estimated pool. It does not count real dating profiles or predict your personal chance of finding love.
Are my dating standards too high?
Try changing one preference, widening your age range or looking farther away, then compare the results. A smaller estimate shows the effect of your chosen filters in this model. It does not mean you need to give up your values, or that the right person does not exist.
Can I use it for dating in different countries?
Yes. Choose the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or another available country. The country sets the starting population; the distance setting narrows the estimate. This is not a live count of singles near you, and it does not use your precise location.
Is this a dating app or a love compatibility test?
It is a calculator, not a matchmaking service. There are no profiles, messages or introductions. Unlike a couple compatibility test, it does not compare two people. Use it to explore your preferences and share a fun result with friends.
Is the result exact?
No. It is a directional entertainment estimate using public population data and transparent assumptions.
Who can see my answers?
